The ‘casting’ of the unrepentant into Hell

People and devils are ‘cast’ or ‘thrown’ or ‘thrust’ into hell

Mat 5:29  If your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be thrown into hell.

Mat 13:41-42  The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all law-breakers,  42  and throw them into the fiery furnace. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Mat 13:49-50  So it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come out and separate the evil from the righteous  50  and throw them into the fiery furnace. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Mat 18:9  And if your eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than with two eyes to be thrown into the hell of fire.

Mar 9:45  And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life lame than with two feet to be thrown into hell.

Mar 9:47  And if your eye causes you to sin, tear it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than with two eyes to be thrown into hell,

Luk 10:15  And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted to heaven, shalt be thrust down to hell.

Luk 12:5  But I will warn you whom to fear: fear him who, after he has killed, has authority to cast into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him!

Rev 19:20  And the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who in its presence had done the signs by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped its image. These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur.

Rev 20:2-3  And he seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years,  3  and threw him into the pit, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he might not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were ended. After that he must be released for a little while.

Rev 20:10  and the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Rev 20:14-15  Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.  15  And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

Both body and soul will be destroyed in Hell by God

Mat 10:28  And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

Jesus sends the angels who cast people into hell

God does the casting into hell

2Pe 2:4  For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to chains of gloomy darkness to be kept until the judgment;

The demons expect Jesus to torment them 

Mat 8:29  And behold, they cried out, “What have you to do with us, O Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the time?”

Mar 5:7  And crying out with a loud voice, he said, “What have you to do with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I adjure you by God, do not torment me.”

Jesus can send devils to the abyss with a word

Luk 8:31  And they begged him not to command them to depart into the abyss.

Jesus keeps devils in chains for judgment

Jud 1:6  And the angels who did not stay within their own position of authority, but left their proper dwelling, he has kept in eternal chains under gloomy darkness until the judgment of the great day—
